Support-and-guidance rings

Support-and-guidance rings serve for steel and polymeric material pipes drawing through the case of underground and underwater passage of automobile and railway tracks, natural obstacles, and for gas and other pipelines for which polypropylene usage is allowed (oil, petroleum products, and water).

The products are used for steel pipelines with a diameter of 89-400mm and polypropylene pipelines with a diameter of 89-500mm. Rings do not lose their functional characteristics and physical capacity in usage under temperature conditions from -50°C to +50°C. With high dielectric properties, polypropylene rings ensure reliable screen in “case-pipeline-ground” system.

With a purpose of ring unification, its segmental elements are produced in several dimension types. Rubber pads with a width of 10-30mm are installed between segments to increase rubbing friction between a ring and a polymeric pipe, and to regulate necessary ring diameter more accurately.

Structural simplicity significantly reduces ring installation on the pipe and simplifies the technological process of pipe drawing through the case. Efforts for drawing of the pipe with the rings are reduced 3-5 times comparing to conventional methodology. This results in significant building time reduction.
