Test point

Purpose

The test point is set along the pipeline spindle for securing electro-chemical protection tools commutation and possibility of full-scale electro-chemical protection parameters measurement in accordance with GOST R 51164. Piles can be used instead of distance post and for guard band signing in accordance with VRD-39-1, 10-006. Kilometre roof availability on the pile (available at option) enables pipeline root visual control from aerial view.

Structure description

The trihedral stanchion made of polyvinylchloride serves as a test point structure base. An annular strip is applied on the stanchion and marks recommended depth of test point ground installation. The upper stanchion butt is closed by a cover with a help of rivets. There are light-reflecting elements on the cover.

Kilometre roof installation on the stanchion is available at option for possibility of pipeline root visual control from aerial view.

There is a strengthening insert made in polyvinylchloride pipe form inside the stanchion for structure hardening.

There is a terminal block closed with lock cover in the midsection. A 900 key turn ensures cover fixation in stanchion deepening. The key with internal triangle fits all product locks. A rubber pad ensures terminal block pressurization.

The terminal block is made in textolite board form with installed steel bolts M6*35 and M8*35 with protective coating.

Wire sections that can be connected are 1.5-6 mm ² and 10-35 mm ² .

There are pipe cutoffs that prevent unauthorized test point extraction from the ground in the stanchion bottom.

There is necessary information agreed with customer screen printing plotted on the stanchion surface.
